After stopping for lunch in Summerland and checking into
Los Padres Motel (quaint room with the world's smallest sink!), we watched Rob McGehee help Arroyo Grande High win the 400yd relay and went to Farmer's Market with Lauryn and Matt.
After a night of rain, the weather once again cleared for my lucky charm, Sally and we headed off toward Los Osos.
The Elfin Forest has some elf-like oak trees, the Bush Lupine Point to look out onto the Back Bay and some boardwalks! Some day we plan to stay in one of the unique rooms at the Baywood Inn Bed & Breakfast.

We drove around the salt marsh on South Park Road and west into Morro Bay State Park to the Museum of Natural History. Inside ask to see a short video tape in their viewing room on a subject of your choice. We saw one on elephant seals!
We headed for one of the Vista Points 4 miles past San Simeon before Piedras Blancas Lighthouse. There we found the elephant seals! On our way back we window shopped and had lunch in Cambria.
We stayed in Cayucos at the Beachwalker Inn. Try the huge desserts at the Sea Shanty and the Cayucos Pharmacy soda fountain if it's open!
