West Torrance's strength was as a dual meet team. Their undefeated league record is proof of that. They earned the 3rd seed in the CIF Division III team tournament. They wrestled hard and despite forfeiting two weight classes, the team had two close duals against Simi Valley and Esperanza. They won one and lost one. The members of that team were Nick Colbert, Cameron Harris, Soummya Datta, Lucas Ryono, Jesse Uribe, Eric Jensen, Ryan Jensen, Matt Kang, Matt Stagner, Bill Baruth, Dan Baruth, Tyler Svenson, and David Hazell.
